Cajamar signs up to manufacture face masks and visors using 3D printers

Cajamar has signed up to the SICNOVA platform, which is spearheading a national collaboration project to print face masks and visors in 3D and get them out to our health and care workers free of charge.

The SICNOVA platform, leading distributor of 3D printers, encompasses a network of 9,000 people and organisations with 15,000 3D printers in all the Spanish provinces, with a capacity to manufacture 140,000 face masks and visors a day, to be delivered to hospitals and care homes.

The Cajamar Foundation has set up a special account to centralise the management of donations, deposits and payments for the acquisition of materials needed to manufacturer the items and distribute the orders.
